How long does iPhone back glass replacement take?
Most back glass replacements are completed within 60 minutes. The middle frame option may take slightly longer. We'll give you an accurate estimate before starting any work.
What is the difference between back glass only and with middle frame?
Back glass only replaces the rear glass panel – ideal when the glass is cracked but the frame is structurally fine. The middle frame option also replaces the aluminium or titanium frame that wraps around the device, which is recommended if your phone was dropped hard and the frame is bent, dented, or causing button alignment issues.
Will back glass replacement affect my data or Face ID?
No. Back glass replacement does not involve accessing your data or the front Face ID components. We recommend backing up your device as a general precaution before any repair.
Is there a warranty on back glass repair?
Yes. All back glass replacements at Raytech come with a warranty covering defects in parts and workmanship. Contact us for the specific period applicable to your repair.
My iPhone 14/15/16 frame is bent – which option should I choose?
If your frame is visibly bent or your buttons feel stiff after a drop, we recommend the "with middle frame" option. This completely restores the structural integrity and appearance of your device. Not sure? Bring it in – we'll assess it for free and recommend the right repair.
